I think that each of us dreams of getting a comfortable seat on the plane, regardless of whether it is a long or short flight. Widest and narrowest seats in aircraft

For short- and medium-haul flights, the differences are not huge, but still noticeable. The standard width of the seat – measured between the armrests – ranges from 43 to 45cm. Admittedly, it is only a few centimeters, but in practice it affects our comfort during a few hours spent in the air.

· Special needs – people who are very tall, pregnant women or passengers requiring additional space can more often count on a more comfortable place, they just have to report it to the staff.

· Places next to the bulkhead (bulkhead), i.e. rows just behind the wall or curtain separating the cabin. There are no armchairs in front of them, so it is easier to straighten your legs. It is important to pay attention to whether the armrest has not been hidden in the table, then the seat can be narrower.

· Back of the plane — where the fuselage becomes narrower, lines often reduce the number of seats in a row. So there is a little more space, although in the package you get the neighborhood of toilets.

· Change of seat during the flight – if you notice that any place is free or no one is sitting nearby, we can ask the crew about the possibility of changing.
