Below we present you how you can get to this part of Europe.

Land crossing
Sweden, like all Scandinavian countries, can be reached by land route. The first of the routes
begins in Poland and then leads through Germany – Denmark to Sweden. For people from the
western part of Europe, the starting point can be Germany. From Germany, a popular route runs
through Denmark, specifically through the Storebælt (between Zealand and Finland) and Øresund
(between Copenhagen and Malmö) bridges. After crossing them we are already in Sweden and we
can start our adventure ; -)
We recommend the land route for people who would like to visit Sweden, for example. Denmark.
Driving by car, you can also enjoy beautiful views of the strait between Denmark and Sweden.
The downside of choosing this option may be the high tolls on the Storebælt and Øresund bridges,
especially for motorhomes. Fuel costs may also be higher than when a ferry is chosen. But the
decision must be ours!

Ferry crossing
Our second offer to travel to Sweden is ferry connections (as is the case with reaching Denmark
or Norway, which you can read about in separate articles).

Ferry route from Germany to Sweden

Rostock (Germany) – Trelleborg (Sweden)
Ferry connections on this route are operated by Stena Line or TT-Line. The cruise takes about
6.5 hours, there are 3 courses a day.

Travemünde — Trelleborg
Ferry service operated by TT-Line carrier, time of the cruise about 9h, we also have 3 crossings
per day.

Ferry route from Poland to Sweden
Sailing from Poland to Sweden, we certainly have more choice when it comes to routes as well as
carriers.

Gdynia – Karlskrona
Ferry crossing operated by Stena Line, of course, the cruise time is about 10.5h. We have 16
crossings this week.

Swinoujscie – Trelleborg

This route is operated by the TT-Line carrier, the journey time is 7h, we have 11 crossings per week.

Swinoujscie – Malmo
Rej operated by Finnelines, the cruise time is 9h, there are 6 crossings per week.

Gdansk – Nynäshamn
And our last proposal for a ferry connection from Poland to Sweden, operated by Polferries. The
journey time on this route is quite long and is about 18h, we have 6 crossings a week.

The choice of ferry is a great idea for residents from Poland and Germany and neighbouring
countries (Netherlands, Denmark). Many carriers offer short journeys to southern Sweden. And
by sailing to Karlskrona and Ystad we can easily reach various regions of Sweden.

I hope that our suggested routes to Sweden will help you decide which option to choose.

How to get to Sweden? If you are going on a camper trip to Scandinavia, here you will find the…

[30

post-1519","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-getting-there
["GET
