If you’re planning a trip to the UK, there’s some great news coming your way. For the Summer 2026 season, Ryanair is seriously stepping up its game in England, launching a total of 13 new routes. Travelers from Poland have the most to look forward to, as we’re getting the lion’s share of these new flights.
Major Investment at John Lennon Airport
This massive expansion is backed by some serious cash. Ryanair is basing a sixth aircraft at Liverpool Airport, which means smoother operations and more frequent flights across the board. It’s not just Ryanair, either—easyJet is also getting in on the action, adding new sunny destinations like Lisbon, Naples, and Cyprus to their Liverpool schedule.
More Flights from Poland
Getting to the UK is about to get a lot more flexible for passengers flying out of Poland:
- Szczecin: Increasing from 2 to 3 flights a week.
- Krakow: Jumping from 6 to 8 flights a week.
- Warsaw: A brand-new route straight to Liverpool is officially kicking off.
On top of that, Ryanair is adding more flights from cities like Kaunas, Sofia, and Alicante, making Liverpool one of the best-connected spots in North West England.
Why Liverpool Should Be on Your Radar
The city has been a massive draw for years and is the perfect spot for a quick city break. Obviously, it’s the birthplace of The Beatles, and music fans will feel that history on every street corner. But there’s way more to Liverpool than just the “Fab Four”:
- The Historic Docks: A super atmospheric area packed with stunning architecture and rich maritime history (the Royal Albert Dock is an absolute must-visit!).
- Culture on Every Corner: Plenty of world-class museums and galleries—and many of them are completely free!
- The Nightlife: Famous clubs, historic pubs, and a food scene that stays buzzing well into the night.
With these new, more frequent connections, it’s never been easier—or cheaper—to check out one of the UK’s coolest cities without breaking the bank.
